Hello everyone.  As you can see, I’ve decided to give this blogging thing another try.  I’ve just completed my first semester at ACM @ UCO studying music production.  I’ve been doing production and engineering for quite some time now, and I decided earlier this year to make it my full time career by going back to school.  It’s been an incredible ride, and I’m very proud of where I am right now.

I recently uploaded a new song to my Soundcloud page by a group called Badmen called “Fort Mayne“.  Three other classmates and I were assigned to a group project to produce and engineer the group.  The group consisted of myself, Brandon Brewer, Justin Harter, and Mark Quenzer.  Justin is from the band’s “Voltage Knights” and “Audio Eden”.  Mark plays drums for a group called “The Rockettops“.  If you get a chance, go check those guys out.  I’ve had a lot of fun working with them, and I’m very proud of the way that track turned out.

Another song I uploaded recently is one I collaborated with Justin on called “Nighthawks Suite“.  It’s a jammy jazzy number that we improvised in the studio for an English assignment.

I was recently on Fox News discussing ACM @ UCO.  You can check that out here.

I also recently played on KSBI with Sequoia Rapids.  We played 3 songs: “Roll It On”, “Not So Long”, and “Open Gate”.  They’ve only put the first one up.  I’m trying to get the rest of the show so that I can make a clip of the rest of the performance.  We’ve been playing a few shows lately, with my favorite being the State Fair gig back in September.  If you didn’t go to that, you missed out!  We got a little bit of it recorded and managed to make a Youtube clip out of our performance of “Head Archive”.

I have a few things in store that I’m working on.  Keep checking back, I’ll be updating this as they happen.
